Plodding along

Nothing earth-shattering to report these days: just plodding along with current projects, really.

On the enterprise-architecture side, still finishing off the edit of the SEMPER book (‘SEMPER and SCORE: enhancing enterprise effectiveness‘ – more info on the Tetradian Books website soon) ; likewise somewhat stalled on Silos (‘Bridging the Silos: enterprise-architecture for IT-architects‘ – again, see the Tetradian Books site). But it’s all moving in the right direction, albeit slowly.

On the not-enterprise-architecture side, another new book-project starting up, with archaeographer Liz Poraj-Wilczynska. Preliminary title of Disciplines of Dowsing, it’ll tackle the core issue of quality in dowsing and related ‘earth-mysteries’ research (or, more accurately, what to do about the lack of quality in most of said work at present…). More details on the Tetradian Books website in the next few weeks: but in any case we’ve set ourselves a tough deadline of late September, to have it ready in time for the British Society of Dowsers annual conference, for which archaeological-dowsing is a major theme this year.

And on the purely practical side, I’ve been going round and round and round and round trying to sort out – and, much harder, find – a suitable campervan or suchlike, so that I can finally start to get out of my closed little box in Colchester. Nothing definite as yet – seen a few reasonable ones, and rather too many outright duds , but nothing that actually makes the right kind of sense. Oh well.

But at least the web-side is coming together again after the TomGraves.eu domain farrago. Though I still have lots to tidy up there, too. Humph.

Plodding along.
