Back on dialup
Settling down in Sydney, with a client that actually wants real enterprise-architecture rather than the usual the-world-begins-and-ends-with-IT pseudo-architecture. Hooray!
The only catch is that where I’m staying is in a non-broadband zone, so it’s back on dialup again, and it’s s-l-o-w… painfully slow, with 24kbs usually the best I can get.
Until I can set up something more sensible, expect limited ability to handle large files.
