Declined

Struggling with dial-up has been driving me nuts, so I’ve been researching wireless alternatives. Best I could find was Vodafone, at AUD150 for the card and AUD$30-50 for the monthly fee. Good job I checked before buying the card, because the $%^%$ turned me down for an account. Which presumably means the other providers will do the same.

First time it’s ever happened to me. Not pleased; not impressed.

Can understand why: someone who suddenly has no roots also has no rights in this static/status-based culture. Bloody annoying, though. Oh well, stuck on dial-up for the next few months, I guess. Hey ho.
