Function Model – Visio template

Enterprise-architecture again.

As promised, I’ve completed some notes on the Visio 2003 template for building a function model. It’s nothing fancy, just using as much as I can of Visio’s ‘shapesheet’ functionality (deliberately no VBA, otherwise you’d get endless complaints from Visio about ‘potential macro viruses’), so don’t expect miracles – but it does work, it does produce reports and so on. Also in the Word document are some notes about what a function-model is, what it does in enterprise architecture, how to build one, and so on.
