A somewhat-belated (sorry, Dave 🙁 ) pointer to David Snowden and Mary Boone’s article A Leader’s Framework for Decision Making, in the current Harvard Business Review. Tagline is:
Wise executives tailor their approach to fit the complexity of the circumstances they face.
This one’s important because it indicates that the Cynefin framework has moved out of the consultant-only space and hit the mainstream business environment.
Very strongly recommended for anyone needing to understand complexity (which is all of us, really 🙂 ) and how to choose between different styles of responses to different conditions.
